The generator / alternator is completely contactless and therefore wear-free.
Furthermore, it works with permanent magnets and therefore needs
no pre-excitation by the indicator lamp. That is why it can be used with or without a charging indicator lamp.
Works with almost all battery types (acid, gel, AGM, Li-Io)
Warning about LiFePo4 starter batteries with a BMS (Battery Management System) - If the BMS disconnects the battery from the regulator, the regulator will break.
