These sturdy, side stands are far superior to the original, especially in terms of strength. They attach directly to the frame, have a black epoxy finish, and are easy to use even when you're on your machine!

Side stand can be folded out while sitting and does NOT fold back in by itself.

This stand  is not street legal  , as there is a risk of driving off with the side support folded out!  RISK OF ACCIDENT  !!!

This version fits the models /5, /6 and /7, whose shift lever is mounted directly in the gearbox. From September 1977, BMW incorporated a shifter that pivoted at the footrest, rather than fitting directly into the gearbox;

Without footrest rubber, suitable rubber see item no.: 46.71.428 (round version) or item no.: 46.71.660 (square version)
